More Than I Bargained For - My Eyes are Happier

This product does keep me pleasantly awake. I have been wanting to reduce my caffeine intake and SharpMind is absolutely helpful with that. Now an after-work nap is more of an optional thing as opposed to a "must-have".



What I am really enthused about is what this seems to be doing for my eyes. This product contains vinpocetine and ginkgo both of which have been touted for eye health. In general this formula seems to aid circulation to and oxygenation of the brain and perhaps the eyes vicariously gain from substances that do this.



Much to my surprise Sharpmind has noticeably benefited my dry eyes. I believe my vision is a little sharper and my eyes are definitely more moist.

Seems to help

I bought these online since I thought the price was good and I trust the brand name. I find these pills taste awful though and will not order them again. I found them at Costco for a similar value (at a much higher quantity). I do not however not recommend them. I buy things online all the time to not have to go to the store to find them and compare prices. I thought the price was pretty good and I can tell a difference when I take them. I can't however stand the taste of them and have found gelcaps to replace them. If they don't work as well I may purchase these again and tolerate the taste. GUIDE FOR USING GINKGO BILOBA:



Unlike some other herbs standardization is really essentially to insure getting enough of the active constituents of the ginko leaves called flavone glycosides [24%] and terpene lactones [6%]. Without standardization you couldn't ingest the correct volume of the dried Ginkgo leaves and you would be more prone to allergic or toxic reactions which the standardization process in this case corrects reliably.



40-80 mg. about 3 times a day as part of your herbal regime is about the usually dose according to Dr. James Duke's "Herbal Handbook".



ABOUT BRANDS: SWANSON IS A BEST BUY - NOW & NATURE'S WAY ARE TOP QUALITY!



This particular Swanson brand product is the one currently on my shelf right now. The results are roughly equivalent to the results I experienced from the "Nature's Way" and "Now" Brands which I also highly regard. The difference here in these similarly standardized Ginko products is the price. The Swanson standardized Ginkgo is 60 mg. in each of the 240 capsules std. for 24% flavone glycosides and 6% terpene lactones is roughly half the price of the brands I named per volume of product from discount vendors also available here.
